The UF University Economics Society meets weekly on Tuesdays at 5:10 pm in Matherly 119. Each week we discuss economic, political, and philosophical issues such as the minimum wage, healthcare, the morality of the market, and education vouchers. Meetings usually last 1-2 hours. We also bring in guest speakers like Dr. Denslow and Dr. Rush, as well as offer forums for discussion such as posting boards and the new UES blog, Awkward Utopia. Please explore our website for more information about our club, then come out and join us! For more information, contact UES President Matthew Hughes.
